Can you explain how a DiamondGlow® facial actually works?
It’s a 3-in-1 treatment: the wand exfoliates, clears out pores with gentle suction, and pushes in medical-grade serums at the same time.
So instead of being “just a facial,” it works deeper and leaves skin hydrated and balanced, not just polished on the surface.
Does it do extractions?
Yes. The wand’s suction lifts oil and debris out of pores while it exfoliates. If we see a stubborn spot, we’ll do a quick, gentle manual extraction—but most of the work happens through the device, which is cleaner and more consistent than squeezing.
When do results start to show?
You’ll see that instant post-treatment glow, but the real benefits come over the next few days as your skin stays clearer and more hydrated.
If you do them regularly, results layer on each other — it’s less about a quick fix and more about maintaining healthy skin.
Who is it good for—and who should skip it?
Great for dullness, rough texture, clogged pores/blackheads, dry or combo skin, and mild acne.
Skip (or ask us first) if you are pregnant, have open lesions, a sunburn, active cold sores, very inflamed cystic acne, or you’ve used isotretinoin recently.
Does it work for all skin types?
Yes. DiamondGlow® isn’t harsh — we adjust the serums and settings to fit your skin. Whether you’re oily, dry, sensitive, or somewhere in between, it can usually be tailored for you.
How often do people usually come back?
For a one-time reset, it’s great on its own. But if your goal is long-term clarity and skin health, most people come in every 4–6 weeks.
Think of it like a dentist cleaning for your skin — not required, but it makes a real difference if you stay consistent.
Do you customize the serums?
Absolutely. Examples: hydrating (hyaluronic), clarifying (salicylic), brightening (vitamin C/antioxidants), and calming blends. We pick based on your skin that day.
How long does an appointment take?
About 45–60 minutes
Will I be red—or need to lay low after?
Usually just a light pink flush for an hour or two. No downtime.
You can do it anytime—including before a special event. If you plan to wear makeup, give your skin a little time to settle first.
Anything I should avoid after?
Be gentle for 24–48 hours: skip retinoids, strong acids/scrubs, hot yoga/sauna, and unprotected sun. Use moisturizer and SPF. That’s it.
