Acne Scars
May help soften the appearance of certain depressed or uneven acne scars over a series of treatments.
Non-ablative fractional laser skin resurfacing for acne scars, uneven texture, enlarged pores, fine lines, stretch marks and selected facial or body scars.
Fractional laser treatment is used to improve texture-related concerns by creating controlled microscopic treatment zones beneath the surface of the skin.
May help soften the appearance of certain depressed or uneven acne scars over a series of treatments.
Supports smoother-looking skin when roughness and surface irregularity are the primary concerns.
Can improve the appearance of mild fine lines as collagen remodeling develops.
May create a more refined surface appearance by improving the surrounding texture.
Selected stretch marks may become less noticeable as the treated skin remodels.
Certain mature surgical or traumatic scars may be appropriate for fractional treatment.
May improve mild crepey texture but is not a substitute for major skin tightening or surgery.
May support a more even appearance when texture and visible signs of sun exposure occur together.
Our 1540 nm non-ablative fractional laser creates controlled microscopic treatment columns beneath the skin while leaving surrounding tissue untreated.
This process stimulates the skin’s repair response and supports collagen remodeling over time. The treatment does not remove the entire surface of the skin and is not the same as ablative CO2 laser resurfacing.
Microscopic treatment columns are created with untreated skin remaining between them.
Improvement develops gradually as the treated skin heals and remodels.
Settings are selected according to the treatment area, skin tone, concern and acceptable downtime.
Treatment may be used for facial resurfacing and certain scars or stretch marks on the body.
Fractional laser is not automatically the right treatment for every scar, skin tone or texture concern. A consultation is used to decide whether the expected benefit justifies treatment.
Prices are per treatment. The exact area, treatment intensity and expected number of sessions are confirmed during consultation.
Overall facial resurfacing for texture, fine lines, pores and selected acne scars.
Examples include the cheeks, acne scars, around the mouth, around the eyes or selected lower-face areas.
For selected stretch marks, surgical scars or limited body areas requiring focused fractional treatment.
For larger areas of stretch marks, scarring or uneven texture that require broader treatment coverage.
Treatment is planned around the area, concern, skin tone and desired intensity. Stronger settings may create more visible healing but are not automatically better for every client.
We review the concern, skin tone, medical history, recent sun exposure and previous treatments.
Before treatment, you may be instructed to temporarily stop retinoids, exfoliating acids and other active skincare products. The skin is cleansed, and topical numbing may be used depending on the treatment area and settings.
The laser is passed over the selected area using settings chosen for the concern and skin.
You will receive clear instructions covering cleansing, moisturizing, sun protection, what to avoid and when to resume active skincare products.
Healing varies by treatment intensity, area and individual response. The timeline below is a general example rather than a guarantee.
Skin may feel warm, tight or sensitive and may appear red or slightly swollen.
Visible redness, sensitivity and mild swelling may continue, depending on the settings used.
Skin may feel rough, dry or bronzed as the treated surface begins shedding naturally.
Texture improvement develops gradually as the skin heals and collagen remodeling continues.
Fractional laser resurfacing is not performed with the same settings on every person. The depth of the concern, skin tone, treatment area, recent sun exposure and tolerance for downtime all matter.
Our team has extensive experience with laser and light-based treatments. The objective is not to use the strongest possible setting. It is to choose a treatment level that reasonably balances safety, healing and expected improvement.
Darina performs fractional laser skin resurfacing for selected facial and body concerns. Before treatment, she reviews the client’s skin tone, scar or texture pattern, recent sun exposure, previous procedures and healing history.
Treatment settings are selected according to the concern, treatment area and acceptable downtime rather than using the same intensity for every person. She also explains when fractional resurfacing may not be the best treatment choice.
Temporary redness, warmth, swelling, tenderness, dryness, rough texture, bronzing, itching or sensitivity may occur.
The degree and length of visible healing depend on the area, treatment intensity and individual response.
Burns, blistering, prolonged redness, infection, scarring and temporary or persistent pigment changes are possible.
Clients with darker skin tones or recent sun exposure may have a higher risk of post-inflammatory pigment changes and require more conservative planning.
We will review your skin, treatment area, goals and likely downtime, then explain the recommended treatment approach and expected price.
